Phi Mu took the west coast by storm, when more than 500 women attended the 44th National Convention at the Marriott Desert Springs in Palm Desert, CA. Philadelphia-Suburban was represented by 3 members: Paula P. attended as chapter delegate, Jennifer J. was there as adviser to Beta Tau (Drexel University) and Molly, Philly-Suburban chapter president, was keeping time with the Carnation Chorale, in keeping with her duties as National Music Chairman.
Philadelphia-Suburban brought home several awards, for all areas of chapter operations:

*Honorable Mention, Greatest Membership Increase
*Certificate for Ritual Workshop (for Drexel and Widener chapters)
